The origins of the company Rathscheck Schiefer go back far beyond 200 years. In the year 1793 Johann Baptist Rathscheck founded the company of the same name that was taken over by the Wilh. Werhahn KG in 1904.

In the last decade the company developed into a European market leader. In Germany Rathscheck Schiefer is with a large distance market leader. In spite of the considerable expansion during the last years the entrepreneurial structure remained on a medium-scale and will also continue in future.
