Rectangular double cladding at the wall

 

Underlay
Generally the "References for Claddings for External Walls ventilated at Rear" ["Hinweise für hinterlüftete Außenwandbekleidungen"] apply to the underlay including the base structure.

In case of claddings for external walls not ventilated at rear they shall be logically applied as far as the joints and fasteners are concerned.

 

Fastening

The slates are fastened

  • in case of concealed nailing with 2 and/or 3 corrosion-proof slate fixing nails or pins
  • in case of using cramps with 1 or 2 cramps of rust-proof steel, material number 1.4571 or copper
  • in case of concealed nailing and additional use of cramps with 2 corrosion-proof slate fixing nails or pins and one cramp or hook of rust-proof steel or copper

Note:

To the extent the cladding is made on battens with cramp hooks approximately 10% of the calculated required quantity of the hooks are needed in the form of drive-in hooks on account of the crossing points of battens and counter-battens.

  = 12,5 + 0,2 = 12,7 cm

Since 12.623 is less than 12.7, take the next lower integral number: 84

The vertical linings out are applied in the distance of

1073 : 84 = 12,77

below:

1080 : 84 = 12,86

The levelling is carried out via the joint.

Note:
Any potential projecting ends shall be taken into account when partitioning.
